Hostal Bambu - San Agustin (Huila)

I recently stayed at a charming hostel in a beautiful Colombian town. The location is ideal, situated on a quiet street but still within walking distance to the center. The rooms are lovely, and some even offer great views. The staff is helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hostel has a fantastic terrace where you can relax and enjoy the sunset. The only drawback was the occasional lack of hot water.

The hostel is comfortable with a good location, friendly staff, and common areas for socializing. The host Gerard helps organize activities and offers the chance to win prizes. There is a hot shower, kitchen available, and a nice view from the terrace.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

They offered a breakfast option at a small price, which was a bowl of fruits and cereals. the wifi was surprisingly fast. the kitchen was basic but sufficient. it was great value for money.

Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, including the showers with warm water and great pressure. They also offered free drinking water and well-equipped kitchens. it was a comfortable and highly recommended place to stay.
